We build software for dental practices and clinics: appointments per chair and dentist, patient files, the digital odontogram, treatment plans and recall lists.
4dental is practice software for dental practices and clinics. Your staff book appointments per chair and per dentist, keep each patient’s file and digital odontogram, record treatment plans and keep a recall list. Prescriptions are written and stored in the system. Invoice drafts can be sent to 4invoices, where invoices are issued. 4dental is part of the 4b2b group of products. Data protection law, UK GDPR and GDPR, applies to patient health data as a special category of personal data, and the practice remains responsible for it.
Clear about what it does
We describe only the features the product has. Booking is done by your practice staff, recall reminders are tracked and marked by your team, and invoices are issued in 4invoices, not in 4dental.
Patient data
Patient health data is a special category of personal data under UK GDPR and GDPR. Your practice is the controller and is responsible for that data, so check your own data protection policy when you set up the system.
Your team stays in control
Invoice drafts come from a treatment plan, and the recall list shows patients who are due for a check-up. Your staff contact patients and send invoices on, so the practice decides each step.
How we describe the product
We do not claim certifications we do not hold. We list only the features the product has, and we state clearly where a task is done by your staff or by another product. If you need details about hosting, security or where data is stored, ask us in writing before you sign up.
Part of the 4b2b group
4dental is one of the 4b2b group of products. Invoice drafts created from a treatment plan are sent to 4invoices, the separate invoicing product, where the invoice is issued. 4dental does not send patient notifications automatically.
